Data
The internet portal PerfectHair as well as the shopping community integrated therein (hereinafter jointly referred to as the “website”) are managed by Mr Dieter VERVOORT, of Huyten 8, 2431 LAAKDAL, with company number 0630.986.681, info@perfecthair.be (hereinafter “PerfectHair”, “us” or “we”). PerfectHair attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data and shall collect, process and use your personal data exclusively in accordance with the following terms and conditions and with due regard for the applicable data protection laws.
Your personal data
Personal data means any and all information relating to an identified or identifiable person, for example your name, telephone number and your postal or email address.
Collection, processing and use of personal data
PerfectHair will collect, process and use your personal data exclusively in the manner set out below.
Member’s account
On the website you have the option to set up a personal account for the shopping community (hereinafter “member’s account”). You can save your personal data in your account, so you can shop easily in the shopping community.
To create your personal account, and depending on which channel you register with, PerfectHair will need your email address and a password of your choosing, and if necessary it will also need your title, first name and surname. The email address you provide also serves as access ID for your member’s account. You will automatically receive a confirmation by email after successful registration. You can update your details at any time in the personal section of your member’s account.
Registration via Facebook login for home pages
If you are a member of Facebook, you can use the “Facebook login for home pages” service as an alternative way of logging in to our website. Facebook will provide us with all the information we need to open a member’s account based on the details you have entered previously on Facebook.
To enable this function, your browser will download a script from the Facebook servers when you visit our website for the first time. In the process it is technically feasible that Facebook will become aware that you are visiting our website.
If you use the “Facebook login for home pages” function on our website, Facebook will make certain information available to us. This requires you to confirm, on the Facebook website for your public Facebook profile (name, profile photo, age, sex, language, nationality and other public information), that you give permission for Facebook to pass your Facebook friends list and your email address on Facebook on to us.
Because, technically speaking, we have very limited capabilities when it comes to configuring the “Facebook login for home pages” function, we cannot restrict the data that Facebook makes available. However, we will only store the data that is needed for registration with PerfectHair (email address, your title, forename and surname; see article 3.1 above).
Orders
To process orders PerfectHair needs your title, forename and surname, your address and your telephone number. This information will be provided during the course of the order process, if it is not saved in your member’s account (cf. article 3.1). You can supply a delivery address that differs from the invoice address.
Once you have selected a payment service provider, you will be asked to enter the details needed to make use of the respective payment service provider. This payment information will be forwarded directly to the respective payment service provider and not stored by us.
We store information that is used for the invoicing process and a delivery address (which may be different from the one given in your member’s account) so that you do not have to enter the information again for your next purchase. You can change this information at any point in the future.
Contact form
You can contact PerfectHair directly via the contact form on the website and/or via the email address info@perfecthair.be. PerfectHair collects, processes and uses the information provided by you via the contact form solely to process your request.
Newsletter
Where you have consented to this, PerfectHair shall use the email address you initially provided when setting up your account to send you information, via email, about current offers. PerfectHair may adapt the content of the newsletter in such a way that it only contains the information that PerfectHair thinks may be of particular interest to you. To adapt this information PerfectHair takes into account your purchase history, the products you have purchased in the past, and the products you have viewed on the site and put in your shopping basket in the past.
You can manage the settings for the newsletter in the personal section of your member’s account.
Use of logistics service providers and other service providers
When dispatching your order PerfectHair will make your personal information available to logistics service providers who will process this information on behalf of PerfectHair for the performance of the agreement and with due regard for the necessary security measures.
Cookies
PerfectHair uses cookies on this website. Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser cache to enable browser recognition and make your visit to our website more appealing.
We use so-called session cookies and permanent cookies. Session cookies are deleted automatically when you leave the website. Permanent cookies stay on your device for a longer period and enable us to save the contents of your shopping basket and to benefit from the web analysis and individualised target group targeting resources described below.
Of course, you can also visit our website without your browser storing cookies. You can restrict or disable the storage of cookies in your browser settings at any time, although this may restrict the functions and user-friendliness of our website.
Google AdWords
Our site uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and its options for conversion tracking, offered by Google Inc. in the United States (“Google”). If you visit our site via a Google advert, Google AdWords installs a cookie in your browser, which allows us to generate statistics on the use of our website (for example the number of registrations and/or first purchases on our website as the result of specific AdWords).
You can obtain further information about conversion tracking, in particular how you can restrict the collection of data via the cookie set up by Google, through the following link: http://services.google.com/sitestats/en.html
Ⅸ. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which enable analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website will be transmitted to a Google server in the US, where it will be stored. IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, so a user’s IP address is truncated within the Member States of the European Union or other states in the European Economic Area which have signed up to the agreement. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the US, where it will be truncated. For the benefit of the owner of this website, Google will use this information to assess your use of the website, to compile reports about website activity and to provide the website owner with other services relating to website activity and internet use. Google will not associate the IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics with other data that Google possesses. You can prevent the use of cookies by choosing the correct settings in your browser. Do bear in mind, however, that if you do this you may not have access to all the functions provided on this website. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and data related to the use of the website (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading the browser add-on and installing it through the following link: the current link (from March 2015) is: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
We use Google Analytics to analyse the data from Google AdWords for statistical purposes (e.g. determining how many times an advert is viewed and/or the click-through rate). If you do not want this, you can disable it using the advertisement preference manager: http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=en.
If and insofar as you are registered with us and visit our website, we will also use Google Analytics to create cross-device reports on your website activities. For that purpose we will associate your user ID with your Google Analytics user profile, but we will not associate this profile with your real name or other information that identifies you directly and as an individual. This analytical capability also works to a certain extent without cookies, so your internet behaviour can at least be partially assessed via Google Universal Analytics, if you have cookies disabled in your browser. To prevent this tracking, please follow this link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
Display marketing
We use tracking technologies from Criteo GmbH and the DoubleClick Campaign Manager from Google Inc., US on our website. These also allow us to approach internet users that have visited our website on the websites of our partners by means of targeted product recommendations in the form of banner advertisements. The insertion of this advertising on our partners’ pages is based on cookies and on the analysis of your previous user habits. This analysis will be performed under a pseudonym. No user profiles will be associated with your real name. You can refuse the collection of data by Criteo GmbH at any time, by clicking the following link http://www.criteo.com/de/privacy/ (page in German) and by Google Inc. by clicking the following link http://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/?hl=en .
Facebook Custom Audiences
Where you have consented to this, we will also make use of the Facebook Custom Audiences tool offered by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, US (“Facebook”), which enables Facebook to put banner advertisements on Facebook on our behalf. For this purpose we will send your email address in coded form to Facebook. If you are a member of Facebook, Facebook will know that you are also registered with PerfectHair.
We also use the “Lookalike Audiences function” offered by Facebook, which enables Facebook to display advertisements to Facebook users with profile characteristics similar to yours.
For more information about data processing by Facebook we refer you to the general terms and conditions for Custom Audiences, available at https://www.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos.php (login required).
Adobe Target
We use the Adobe Target software from Adobe Systems Incorporated, 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, US (“Adobe”), to test the success of advertising campaigns. Adobe Target uses cookies that collect specific test information, in particular the number of registrations and purchases on the respective test landing page. For more information, see http://www.adobe.com/marketing-cloud/testing-targeting.html. These test results will be transmitted to Google for evaluation as part of Google Analytics (see above B.IX).
You can refuse this analysis by clicking on the following link: http://www.adobe.com/uk/privacy/opt-out.html (under “Opt out of Adobe Marketing Cloud measurement and personalization solutions for websites”).
Withdrawal of consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect, free of charge, via PerfectHair or by sending written notification to PerfectHair.
Right of access and amendment
You have the right to access the information stored about you as an individual, free of charge.
You may withdraw the consent that you gave for the collection, processing and use of your data at any time, with future effect.
We will be happy to answer any further questions you have regarding the privacy and processing of your personal data. You can contact PerfectHair via the email address info@perfecthair.be.
And of course you can also contact us at the address given in our company details.
